What is the IMEI number?

However, most of the people won’t keep all those packaging and documentation things. They’ll throw out them. So for those people, this way won’t help much.

Way 2 is – The first thing that we generally do when we get a new mobile phone is signing in to Google accounts on that phone. So if you have connected your mobile phone to Google accounts then you can easily find IMEI number.

• Open Google Settings Dashboard – link
• Sign in Google account that is associated with your mobile phone
• Then you can see all the accounts like blogger accounts, Youtube accounts, Location history, Android devices, etc that are associated with that Gmail account
• Go to the Android devices option. Click on that to expand

• At the bottom of the Android option, you will get Find Your Devices option. Click on that.
• Now choose the device that you need to track or get IMEI number. Click on the question mark like symbol beside the device name. Then you’ll find all the information about your phone.

For iOS devices you can get it using iTunes, if you’ve synced the device with iTunes then you can get IMEI number in the settings.

• Go to iTunes –> Preferences  OR  Edit –> Preferences
• Click on devices option now
• Go to Summary tab
• Click on your number twice to get the IMEI number.
